Web Intergration Option -- worth it?

Does anyone know anything about the Web Integration Option that is available for the Dynamic Server NT 7.3? The package bypasses the ODBC driver and has direct access to the db. We are building a db with a large web interface. I'm wondering how great the performance will differ. Are the ODBC drivers slow or a headache? We have a web server with 2 200 MHz Pentiums and a db server with 8 200 MHz processors. Both systems are from HP and have lots of disk space and ram. Also does anyone have any thoughts concerning Dynamic 4gl? It looks like a good product to handle applications that require large processing that html won't do so well. I'm certified as a 4gl programmer, but I'm not really sure how it will work in this area. Will it be possible for html to start a 4gl program and will the 4gl program be able to return results back to the web? Any help in any area would be great? Help from Informix's technical staff also welcome. Brian McGinity --Working harder so you don't have too. bmcgin@bellatlantic.net
