I have a problem with informix SERIAL data types...
I want to get the value of newly inserted SERIAL COLUMN...

Tabe Design of TEST
id serial, --> primary key
firstname char(30)
Following coding is...
EXEC SQL
insert into TEST(firstname) values ('kslee');
successful insert is expected...
then, I intend to insert to other table that refrences TEST(id)....
What can I do?
please answer me...
