Problem with Informix Online 7.01

I am using Informix Online 7.01C1 on Sun Solaris 2.4. While adding a new user to a database created as ANSI-compatible, all the users are added to the sysusers table in UPPERCASE though the login id is in lowercase. As a result, new users are unable to connect to the database. Eg: GRANT CONNECT TO user1 ; A select performed on sysusers would display username usertype priority password USER1 C 5 I have other databases which are created , but not ANSI-complaint and the above process works fine.
