Fernando Fernandez started the thread, trying to "start a campaign to convince IBM to revive New Era and Informix 4GL for Windows." Then explained that IBM representatives told him "there will be a conversion tool from 4GL to EGL that will convert *most* of the existing code. This means that not all the code will be convertible.
