RE: NewEra 3 Memory leak?

We had the same problem. Fortunately, we have a connection manager class
that we can call to connect and disconnect from the database. By doing
this, we release the connection and the memory. We tried disconnecting
after 3 transactions and found that the average amount of memory per connection
was 3Mb!!. We went to one transaction/one disconnection and got the average
down to 1MB.
BTW the same transactions would take no more than 100k when run from dbaccess.
We have Informed Informix of this memory leak problem.

Has anyone experienced a memory leak in a NE3 app?
We don't use the AFCL.
We run on Win 95
I find that upon opening & closing a window repetitively with alot of
objects on it (eg a grid form with 30 columns) the resources available (in
control panel - system - performance tab) slowly leaks away until the font
gets large & the program crashes.
It seems that the destructor function is not called.
The window is opened from the activate handler of a button - and the
reference is also local to that handler....
Anyone?
