RE: Infomix monitoring tools

Ugh. Patrol is nice (and expensive), but can be a hog and a royal pain the way it keeps re-attaching itself. "No, when I took away your shared memory it was an indication that I REALLY DON'T WANT YOU MESSING AROUND RIGHT NOW". Sigh the joys of ipcrm power and not kill. Maybe someday when I get a little time and don't feel like spending it here I'll worry that problem. cheers j. > -----Original Message----- > From: Murray Wood [mailto:murray@quanta.co.nz] > Sent: Thursday, January 18, 2001 5:41 PM > To: 'informix-list' > Subject: RE: Infomix monitoring tools > > > BMC's Patrol if you have plenty of resources. > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-informix-list@iiug.iiug.org > [mailto:owner-informix-list@iiug.iiug.org]On Behalf Of Tham Huei Hwan > Sent: Thursday, January 18, 2001 6:59 PM > To: informix-list > Subject: Infomix monitoring tools > > > all, > > Anybody have come across any good and reliable informix monitoring > tools, that can monitor like chunk/dbspace i/o, read write caching, > dbspace info, table info and so on. > > > Thanks and regards > > Tham >
