OK you have GOT to help us just a BIT! I don't know what your shoe size is either and my crystal ball is in the shop. Post your ONCONFIG file, output of export or set (depending on what shell you use) that shows your environment and what it is set to, the contents of your sqlhosts file, and the output of the hostname and uname -n commands.
