Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Ken:
You can have a statement in your 4gl like:
run "load.run"
The load.run script (in that directory) could say:
dbload -d dbname -c load.cmd -l load.log
Then also have a file called load.cmd which says:
file "pathname of the file to load from"
(
fld01 01-100
);
insert into tablename
(
fieldname
)
values
(
fld01
);
Hope this helps.
