Informix Client/Server Problems - Any HELP?

I have recently been getting informix client/server problems, and was wondering if anyone can help me out.? Problem: Visual Basic Application using ODBC to access Informix via Informix-NET service sqlexec and Informix-STAR. In the log ie started by using the command sqlexecd -l start.log comes up with 2 errors which I am not certain of the answer to. 1) 25530 :The sqlexecd daemon could not bind to the required port adress 25504 :The sqlexecd daemon could not open a socket : No error - Whats causing this? 2) 25529 :The sqlexecd daemon cannot get a host structure : system error: The VB Application cannot make a connection to Informix. I have checked the service's file on both UNIX and PC's, and they have the same port address and service name. When I test the connection by using the i-login.exe file supplied by Informix on the i-net package, I get a 932 error. Any help would be most appreciated. Martin Man
