Retoring the onbar backup

Hi friends, I want to restore our onbar backup from linux server to windows server, our onbar backup is scheduled through OAT.what is the procedure to restore?. Please help me on this. Thanks

That's not the way it works - an Informix backup is for restoring the instance you've backed up, that is 'same platform' and 'same Informix version' (can be different host). You can't restore an Informix-on-Windows instance from an Informix-on-Linux backup, most obvious reason being differing page size (4k on Windows, 2k on Linux). onbar sends its backup data to a storage manager system of some kind, so first onbar on target system must get access to that storage manager and data. I'd say search the web for 'onbar imported restore', that's basically what you're trying to achieve.
