Edit this file and change your rootdbs directory to your raw partition, change all other settings that you need, (be sure to change the instance number..must be different from your existing....DON'T forget to change this .. It will cause major problems to your existing instance). Be sure to give new INFORMIXSERVER name and aliases (different from your other instance). At the command line, export your variable, ONCONFIG, INFORMIXSERVER to your new values and you should be set. Go into onmonitor, and initialize, and check each screen and the settings. Be sure you are not effecting any of your original instance settings . Tim
