Create the an equivalent ODBC Environment / Ecosystem on Solaris 2. Then install an ODBC Driver that is built to replicate the Windows experience on non Windows platforms. Points 1&2 is basically what OpenLink Software has been delivering since the inception of ODBC (circa 1993), and all you have to do is as follows: 1. Obtain the drivers (after digesting the information at: http://uda. openlinksw.com/odbc/ 2. Download the Solaris ODBC Drivers for Informix Enjoy!
