Help! w/ ESQL/C
To all the Informix ESQL/C gurus out there:
The problem might be very silly for you, but I would appreciate if you
can help me out. I am learning Stored procedures and SPL. The program
looks like this:

$include sqlda;
main()
{
$database stores;
$create procedure from "Create_Procedure";
if (sqlca.sqlcode != 0)
printf("\\nSqlca.sqlcode=%d\\n",sqlca.sqlcode);
}
When I tried to compile using "c4gl try.ec", I am getting the following
error message:
fglc2:file "try.ec", line 269: Syntax error on identifier
'procedure'. (sqlhost.l)
The source for Create_Procedure is:
Create Procedure proc1()
update customer set customer_num=555 where customer_num=101;End Procedure;
I tried creating the procedure in DBAccess and it worked.
I am working with Informix 5.0 version on NEC workstations in Unix.
