ITLargeObjectManager and ITLargeObject - Handle()

Hi, I am using the Informix docs from here: http://bit.ly/jdszN "The application can use ITLargeObjectManager::CreateLO() to create a new large object. It can then get the handle of the newly created large object in either text or binary form using ITLargeObjectManager::HandleText() or ITLargeObjectManager::Handle() and insert it into a table." Is there a way to directly pass on the LOB Handle from ITLargeObjectManager to a ITLargeObject, instead of storing it in the database, then retrieving it using ITvalue and then loading using the QueryInterface into ITLargeObject? In other words, can I store the result from ITLargeObject's Handle() in ITLargeObject using SetHandle()? Any help is appreciated! Thnx
