I am resending this message since no one has responded. Please read the text
below. I have since made a change to the makefile and now instead of getting
the -lgen message I get several esqlc syntax errors for listdb7.ec.
I have also tried to compile this on a Sun server and received other errors. I
thought that I changed the appropriate places for Solaris, but without

The chances are that those are in the GNU C Library on Linux. Try removing -lgen from the command line in the makefile. -- Jonathan Leffler #include <disclaimer.h> Email: jleffler@earthlink.net, jleffler@us.ibm.com Guardian of DBD::Informix v2008.0513 -- http://dbi.perl.org/ "Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves, for we shall never cease to be amused."
