We use a data modeling tool called ERWin by Logic Works. It has a lot of features beyond reverse engineering and supports a lot of differend RDBMs. The earlier versions we were using created models in IDEF1X notation and version 2.5 also supports IE notation. There are a large number of features that I will not list here, but they have a Web page at www.logicworks.com.
