Well, I don't often try to but into these tirades, but today seems like a good day to die. The Delphi product is good and I don't care to judge the quality of the documentation; it's not my field and subjectively, the Delphi manuals are no worse than many. As for the Informix documentation of NewEra, I don't believe you've even cracked the spine on the language reference much less looked at the megabytes of on line code and application samples. For the sake of the readership of this group, the NewEra documentation has won technical documentation awards and is widely acclaimed as superior material. Be reasonable. In article <3omp00$rqi@panix3.panix.com>, sal@panix.com (Salvatore Denaro) says: > >Jorge Torralba (jorget@delphi.com) wrote: >: Unlike New Era, Delphi offers reliable documentation to support examples and >: coding tactics which are much needed in aa new product. > >Not from Borland!
