Sanity errors using Archecker in IDS 9.40 UC3

Hi All, I posted a query to newsgroup last week about "Sanity errors using Archecker in IDS 9.40 UC3". Subsequently we logged the call with IBM. IBM US has opened a case and recorded this as a new bug no. 166505 and targeted to be fix in IDS 9.40 UC5. Below is the detail from IBM about the bug, in case some is interested to read: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following error messages appear in the AC_MSGPATH after running archecker on an archive tape that contains partition pages for tables with in-place alters. ERROR: dbspace 0 is not open for parition 0X00000084. ERROR: Sanity test on parition page failed 1:132. ERROR: Parition 0X00000085 has incorrect number of pages ->used 16 < total 12. ERROR: Sanity test on parition page failed 1:133. The errors are false and mistakenly reported. The partition pages that are reported as bad are actually special overhead partition pages for the in-place altered table and should not be interpreted as regular partition pages which is causing the error message. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Hari
