Q: informix <-> MS server

Hello! Unfortunately, I don't know about databases much and feel pretty stupid posting this, but I don't have a choice. My friend from Russia asked me to ask this question. I hope somebody could answer me this one because I have no idea what he is talking about. :) Here is his request, translated to English: We are in a process of setting up a computer network for several stock-markets. This network will have a Windows NT server running Microsoft SQL Server and a SCO Unix box running Informix. We need to exchange data between these two servers. We were thinking of doing a "stored procedure". The question is, is there a gateway for doing such a connection.
