An interesting citation. One off losses aren't that much a problem for a large company - provided that the losses are small. They usually go hand in hand with a takeover and a writedown of assets. What bothers me, however, is that they chose to hide the truth. Does Informix management have something to fear? > Sounds like they are up the proverbial creek... Maybe. But more likely not. Their market share is still strong. However, as always, its new sales that count. -am
