How to connect database resides on different host

I have installed IDS on a windows 2k3 machine. Created one database. Now i am able create ODBC DSN on the same machine and test it successfully. Now want to create this DSN from client machine. I installed client SDK on another machine, created entries in hosts, and services files. Created registry for SQLHosts entry. but when i click on test connection i am getting following error - --------------------------- IBM Informix ODBC Error Message: --------------------------- Test connection was NOT successful.[Informix][Informix ODBC Driver][Informix]System error occurred in network function. --------------------------- Is anything i am missing while doing this client server setup. Make sure that you have set INFORMIXDIR in the client machine pointing to CSDK installed location. How did you create the registry for SQLHosts entry ?? using SETNET32 or manually ? Please try using Setnet32. Also let us know the CSDK/IDS version that you have installed ? Premnath Through SETNET32 I verified the INFORMIXDIR variable, it pointing to c:\\\\Program Files\\\\IBM\\\\Informix\\\\Client-SDK. I have created the registry using SETNET32 itself. I am using IDS 11.5 and CSDK 3.50. Here is some more information - C:\\\\windows\\\\system32\\\\drivers\\\\etc\\\\hosts contains following entry 10.216.133.127 nilesh-test C:\\\\windows\\\\system32\\\\drivers\\\\etc\\\\services contains following entry svc_ids_1150_1 9089/tcp #ol_ids_1150_1 Registry SqlHosts->ol_ids_1150_1 contains HOST - nilesh-test PROTOCOL - olsoctcp SERVICE - svc_ids_1150_1 Thanks, Nilesh
