Also do
select tabname from systables where np_used < 0.
If you find any rows with np_used < 0 update it to 0 and
the run update statistics again.
I can't remember the exact problem when having np_used < 0
[Wa it just in Online 5.x?] but I remember it did affect update
statistics and setting np_used to 0 then doing update statistics was
the fix.
