Re: desperate - weird error during ontape restore

During backup ontape opens a file descriptor and writes until it
reaches TAPESIZE, and then asks for another tape. It doesn't ask for
or get responses from the tape device, so it will not know when it
reaches EOT (end of tape). Change the TAPESIZE parameter to a valid
tape size, and try another backup/restore. Hope this information

Uh, just learned that TAPESIZE = 0 is new to 9.4. So this is an "Ugh".
Try archiving/restoring from/to disk, and see if you get the same response. HTH.
