isaudit

We are considering using the isaudit function in C-ISAM to create audit records. The system is SCO Unix (ODT 3.0) and C-ISAM 3.10 (3.10 because of compatibility needs with other software). The following points do not appear to be covered in the manual :- 1. At what point can the audit filename be changed ? 2. How does one know whether anyone else has the C-ISAM file open apart from doing an exclusive open ? 3. I want to check point the C-ISAM files at regular time points, change the audit file being written to, tranfer the written audit file to another system, and apply the changes. Does this make sense ? 4. When C-ISAM opens files for ISINOUT the file is cannot be accessed from another system which has mounted the drive under NFS. The copy command just says "read error". Is this correct ? -- ***************************************************************************** * Valley Technology Ltd * Andrew Smith * * Voice 031-551-2702 * asmith@valleyt.demon.co.uk * *****************************************************************************
