NewEra3: SE not working

Hello, I just installed NewEra 3.0 on an NT 4.0 Workstation. Now when trying to use the SE 7.2 I keep getting the message that the user is not known on the databse server. But the user is correctly entered in the ipasswd-tool. I now cannot access the database with db-access and can't create a repository so that newera 3.0 is unusable.
