Hello, We are using IDS 7.31 on Solaris 8 and Windows NT4. The solaris server is defined as a root server for Enterprise Replication. The servers NT4 are defined as leaf servers (12 servers). We changed the structure of a table (changed 1 zone from char(30) into char(100) and added a new field char(7)). This table is replicated (primary target) from the leaf servers to the root server. Since the modifications, we sometimes get the following replication error: TXH CDR:23 (Error: Internal error (buffer too small for stored procedure arguments)) / SQL:0 / ISAM:0 ---------- RRH Row:1 / Collection Id: 45810467 / Replicate Id: 45810467 / Table: hziv@dbahziv.r_fichmed / DbOp:Delete RRD ????Unable to format row data RRD 0x00000000: 36313530 30373833 32393336 00003184 615007832936..1 0x00000010: 0001000a 6500009c 3800009c 3cfff56a ....e..8..<ÿõj Has anyone any idea? Thanks.
You need to redefine the replicate to include table schema changes. In = IDS version 11.50 you can alter the replicated table while replication is active and don't have to redefine replicate to include schema changes. We did redefine the replicates because, as you said yourself, in version 7.31 you can't alter a table that is replicated.
