We've got OWS 7.2 on SunSolaris 2.5.1 The DBMS was installed several months ago by someone who is no longer here. Now, we need to use ESQL/C, but it wasn't installed. The Informix manuals include dire warnings that one must install ESQL/C *before* installing the OWS, but they never say why. Does anyone know what problems I might have if I disregard these warnings? I'd like to avoid a complete reinstallation if I could. ---Tom
