Problems using Informix HDR on 7.12

Hello, Is anyone using Informix' HDR to replicate databases which have blobs in them? Now I know that HDR does not "support" blob replication because blobs located in blob db spaces are not logged. Since HDR really just replicates logs, it won't replicate the actual binary image. Having said that, Informix assured us that we could replicate such databases, and only the blobs wouldn't replicate. So here we are, we've turned on replication and everything seemed to work until we made a change to a table containing a blob space. If we then bring up the replication db on line, and do anything at all to the table containing the blob, the db hangs. If anyone out there has any experience in this arena, we'd appreciate any help you can give. We're trying to create a warm backup site for a 2000+ user system in a fairly mission-critical application environment. Thanks, Jason Freedman jfreedman@andersen.com
