9.4/HP-UX real to 11.1/RHEL VM

~60 simultaneous users OLTP primary function, DSS queries/jobs run overnight. 1 instance 3 primary databases, 3 testing/training DBs 16 dbspaces, 4 temp spaces Level 1 is ~21GB Not really sure how much memory is actually configured for Informix, buffers are 150,000 Using ontape for backup, both logical and level 1 go to SAN/filesystem, then batch compression cron afterwards Current environment: Physical server HP rp5405, 5+ years old HP/UX 11.11 9.4FC3 Quad processor 650Mhz RISC 8GB memory 1 spindle (2 drives mirrored) New environment: VM Vsphere cluster, brand new (?? Host specs) RHEL 5, 2.6.18 kernel 11.1FC3 (Yes, I know I should be going to 11..5, but don't have choice on version) 2 cores (?? Equivalency) 6GB memory 50GB of SAN space, 40GB of it raw as requested by me SysAdmins have never setup the SAN with RAW space. I am looking for help/documentation/guidance to provide them so they set it up in the most favorable way for Informix. Any other tips/tricks/gotchas of an RHEL setup would be appreciated.
