Database Error

Hi everybody, I am unable to access a database that was created in / directory. The error I am getting is 922, cannot get name of current working directory. Thanks for your help Hortencia

I guess you are talking about Informix SE ?? Check the permissions on the database directory. Usually, only root has the privilages to create stuff in the root (/) directory. chmod 666 and chown informix.informix should do the trick. Failing that, is the file system mounted ??
