Replication and select stmt

I am using ER to replicate several tables to a target server (Linux box running IDS 9.21). I really only want to replicate a portion of the data from each table, rather than just doing a "select * from table_a". The docs say the select cannot include a join or subquery. I need something like: select * from tab_a, tab_b where tab_a.sec_id = tab_b.sec_id and tab_b.is_int = 'Y' Is there any way to accomplish this using ER? Thanks, Jeff

Afraid not in current releases. Let me explain why. In order to do this type of evaluation, each row of the tables would have to be evaluated as though it were a seperate query. The cost to do this would rather high would make it near impossible for the evaluation process to keep up. In general I suspect that this type of replication filter would be successful only in a periodic resynchronization model, not in a continous replication model.
