Not enough info. Is oninit still running? Did you look in the online message log file? Are all of the required shared memory variables set properly in your environment and exported (at least: INFORMIXDIR, INFORMIXSERVER, & ONCONFIG)? What does 'ipcs | fgrep informix' show?
