You've got to fill out some paper work and promise to destroy the server once the eval period is over, but that should get you through your POC. Informix used to be quite lenient - allowing the customer to define the length of the eval as long as it wasn't outrageous and you could make a case for a 6 month eval for example. Art S. Kagel
