Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Sorry to do this to you, guys, but unfortunately we're now being
outsourced to a company that has an O***** db, and I've been asked if
our main in-house db (IDS9.3 on HP-UX) can open a VIEW to tables on
the other company's db.
I've done a bit of a trwal through cdi & iiug and not found much.
Anyone got any clues?
Hint: this may eventually have a direct impact on whether we keep our
own IDS9.3 and, implicitly, whether I keep my job.
Ta
Malc
Looking forward to some time in the Monastery.

Have a look at Enterprise Gateway Manager at

You could even get one of those pikies down at your IBM Business Partnership
to get you an eval ...!
