How many stored procedures can use Informix 7.31?

Hi, I'm afraid we have too many stored procedures. Have you experiance with hunderts of procedures in INFORMIX ONLINE? What's about performence with many stored procedures? Can I automaticly recompile this stored procedures in 4GL or C? What's tools I need? We have Informix 7.31 on HP 11. We call stored procedures ca. 4000 times/seconds. Andrzej Kurowski
