NEEDED SOFTWARE ENGINEERS TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGERS My client company, a well known software company located in the Northwestern United States, is looking for talented individuals in the following areas: SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEERS: Design and implement their core database technology. Component groups include relational engine/query execution and optimization, ODBC/OLE, DB, DBA tools, data replication and internet interface. Requires 3+ years experience using C/C++ to develop commercial database technology, developer tools or graphical user interfaces. Experience with OLE and Windows is preferred. SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEERS: Design, implement, and execute testing tools for their core database technology teams. Involves reviewing design specifications, test case design, C/C++ programming and source code debugging. Requires 1+ years software development or application programming with C/C++ for database technology/products. Testing or QA experience preferred. TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGERS: Drive all aspects of database product development from design and implementation through release. Involves writing functional specifications; defining how engineering teams are to implement functionality; navigating component technologies through development, test, user education and localization; and establishing and driving development schedules to ensure the product is shipped on time. Requires 3+ years core database software development and 1+ years project management experience.
