Subject: Re: Informix Net under OS/2 problem Also insure the if you are using "arp" on the server, that the IP host name in not longer then 7 chars. for example if our server arp table had me as: kendrick 9999999 IN A nnn.nn.nnn.nn it would not work with I-NET and I-STAR, at least with I-STAR on our 5.02 engine so we changed it to: kendric 9999999 IN A 166.97.100.51 and it worked.
