You have to #include a couple of header files and call some 4GL initiation routines before and some shutdown routines afterwards. Then you can pass function parameters back and forth using the "push" and "pop" routines described in the manual as well. Since there are no file i/o-routines in 4GL, the method via an intermediate file is no good. If you have the source for your 4GL-program, just convert the "MAIN" routine to a function and use the C calling interface.
