Re: User Licensing Question

I have a 16-user licence (but never 16 users). I do, however, run many instances of informixl from one uid. I have hit the 5 instances limit. I must admit that it did take me awhile to figure out what was going on, though. I only had three terminal sessions going at the time. Turns out that in more than one terminal session I had shelled out of isql and then not remembering that session had isql running would start another instance. However, the wall is there. I have never tried to start 16 times 5 isql instances, though. Just the thought gives me the willies. My poor processor . . . My .02 worth. George Teachman
