It sounds like the termcap you're using may be defining your function keys beginning with k1 whereas Informix expects function keys to be defined beginning with k0. The following table shows how this can throw all of your definitions off by one: termcap: k0 k1 k2 k3 k4 k5 k6 k7 k8 k9 k10 Informix: F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F6 F7 F8 F9 F10 Your Terminal: F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F6 F7 F8 F9 F10 If this is the case, when you execute your current code, which uses F9, if you actually press the F8 key, your application will perform the ACCEPT that you desire. If this is true, what you can do is use F9 in your OPTIONS statement but put a message on the screen telling your users to "Press the F8 key to ACCEPT." Or, use F10 in your OPTIONS statement and tell users to "Press the F9 key," etc. > example: > OPTIONS ACCEPT KEY F9 > : > OPEN WINDOW wind001 AT 1,1 WITH FORM "stabcr01" > : > In this case I would like to choose one record using function key F9 > instead of ESC.
