Possible causes :insufficient memory o swap space, or stack size exceeded maxssiz. I would rate it highly probable that this error means exactly what it say. You'r out of some kind of memory. :If i remove the order by statement the select work ok. SQL (on any and all databases) is well known for not dealing very well with this large statements. It looks like this is generated by some kind of tool (report generator or whatever). You might want to tell us which one so we can avoid it or at least know that it can do things like this to us. You might want to check your selections (in the tool) to make it generate less complex code. If you by any chance should have made this up yourself you might find it much better to do several sql statements than what you have done here.
