Hi. I have been working with informix for 8 years. AIX for rs/6000 on informix for 4 years. I may be able to qualify to help. I configure and write over 300meg of informix code for garment, apparel, optical, manufacture, accounting, distribution mostly business system for 8 years using informix rdbms and its 4GL as well as C ESQL. However, I would like you to know that informix on AIX performance is not so great largely due to AIX problems. But they will do.
