} There are a couple of things you might try. First, who is the
}cron job running as? That is, who was the job submitted under (informix,
}root, etc.). Are you sure that person has execute privilege to the
}dbaccess, etc. programs?
}
} You might also try adding some debug statements to you cron script.
}For example:
}
} echo $PATH >> /tmp/cron.dbg
} whence dbaccess >> /tmp/cron.dbg
} id >> /tmp/cron.dbg
} dbaccess pic xxx >> /tmp/cron.dbg
} ...and so on...
In the crontab file, cd to the directory where the script is
and then run it. i.e.(cd /usr1/home/bin; ./myfile.run)
Then if any of the programs in the script are in other directories,
make sure you either use the full path or cd to that directory.
