We met a similar problem on one of our servers: except for the user informix, any other user (including root) could not execute properly any stored procedure that would include the SYSTEM command. The error message was 'not owner' - 668. After a lot of trials to workaround the problem we reinstalled the Informix products on that machine and so the problem disappeared. We suspect that someone did an installation of the Informix products as informix instead of as root. Best regards, Cristian.
