ESQL Segmentation Fault

I am using esql to write an application. For several months I have used INFORMIX-SE on LINUX with esql an everything works well. Now I have purchased and installed INFORMIX-DS and the new esql (that comes with DS). The database itself works quite well, but if I try to translate the source (the same source, which compiles well with the ES-esql) I got the following-crash: /opt/informix/bin/esql: line 546: 11844 Segmentation fault $PREPCC $PA -t $TYPE $FNAME I have no Idea what this means. Compiling the same source on a SUN Enterprise 450 with DS and ESQL produces no problem (like my "old" SE). Any suggestions are highly appreciated!!! Was it installed after IDS or before (if you are installing ESQL 7.24 with IDS 7.30 you must install ESQL first if installing ESQL 9.xx from the SDK 2.xx you must install ESQL after? Art S. Kagel

Yes, I have installed ESQL/C in the same directory as IDS (/opt/informix/bin) and yes I have installed ESQL/C after after the DS. My installed versions: ESQL: 9.16.UC2 Client-SDK: 2.10.UC2 Until now I have not solved the problem :-(((
