Hi CKGeier@nwc.edu, That almost sounds like an aging issue. In the a simlilar vein, I had a smililar problem that took me forever to figure out. The DBA here before me had an update statistics script that ran at 100 pdq and within that script he had set "update statistics for procedure" which you should NOT do with PDQ. I ended up running out of PDQ memory very often due to stored procedures that get triggered at the beginning of communication sessions. New connections would just hang and never connect and sometimes existing sessions would drop.
