Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I thought I had posted this to the net but I didn't receive any replies back
so I must not have. BTW-welcome back from the WIUG meeting those of you
lucky enough to be able to go.
I'm running into a problem with the tbcheck -pe utility on an OL 5.0 UC2 plat-
form. I believe the problem stems from the fact that I have BLOBs stored in a
BLOBspace.
I fire off the command and it eventually core dumps after displaying the
following error messages:
ISAM error: cannot allocate memory (it is not preceeded by -116)
Memory fault
Before dumping core I do get two warning messages about tables exceeding 8
extents.
I ran a continuous sar -r while the tbcheck was running and saw almost no
impact on the system by running the tbcheck--I had plenty of system RAM. I
also ran a continuous tbstat -u on my process and according to the status
flags the process was "reading" from time to time by the nreads column didn't
increase. A sar report on the processor however showed it maxed out at 97%
usr overhead.
Has anyone else seen anything like this before? Is it a bug with BLOBspaces?
Has it been fixed? Thanks in advance for any info.
