Klaus, i would recommend not using kill -9 on the sqlturbo/sqlexec. the main reason is that if that process is in a critical section, the online engine will go into abort mode and shutdown (possibly corrupting the database). the preferred method is to use: tbmode -Z transaction_id tbmode -z process_id regards, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | . .
