If your fields are already defined in the appropriate length you can just do
a unload from dbaccess.
Example: SELECT fld1 || fld2 || fld3 FROM sometable
The result would be one expression.
If your fields need some padding you can do the following.
Example: SELECT fld1 || " " || fld2 || " " || fld3 FROM
sometable
Just put between the quotes the appropriate spaces needed for padding or pad
with whatever character that maybe necessary.

I'm not sure of what the ACE line length limit is (assuming there is
one) but it is over one thousand.
Of course not everybody has ACE, but I can't imagine using Informix
without ISQL.
