Isolation is nothing to do with CLI. It is determined by the type of engine and the type of database that you create. So: Engine Default Isolation Standard Engine Dirty Read Online/DB not logged) Dirty Read (I think) Online (DB logged) Committed Read Online (DB Ansi) Repeatable Read I have not reread the manual, just filled in from memory.
